Who this policy covers
This website (lauraamelli.com) is operated by Laura Amelli, freelance Ecommerce Operations Manager, based in Milan, Italy. This policy explains what data is collected when you visit this site, why, and what rights you have over it.
Data I collect
Analytics (only with your consent). If you accept cookies, this site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use it — which pages are viewed, how long visitors stay, and which country/device they come from. This data is anonymized where possible (IP anonymization enabled) and does not identify you personally. If you decline cookies, no analytics data is collected.
Contact form. If you submit the contact form, I collect the name, email, and message content you provide. This is used solely to respond to your inquiry. Form submissions are processed through Netlify Forms and are not shared with third parties beyond what's needed to deliver your message to my inbox.
Third-party services
This site uses:
- Google Analytics 4 (analytics, only with consent)
- Netlify (hosting and form processing)
Both providers may process data outside Italy/EU under their own privacy frameworks. Google and Netlify are both certified under recognized data transfer mechanisms (such as EU-US Data Privacy Framework, where applicable).
How long I keep your data
Contact form submissions are kept as long as needed to respond to and follow up on your inquiry, typically no longer than 24 months, after which they're deleted unless you become a client (in which case standard business record-keeping applies).
Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the data I hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent for analytics at any time (use the "Cookie preferences" link in the site footer)
- Object to processing, or file a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Italy, the Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali)
